IWT ensures smooth freight transport on Yangon Wahdan-Dala car ferry route

The Inland Water Transport (Delta Division) ensures to have the smooth freight transport on Yangon Wahdan-Dala car ferry route with two car ferries between 6:30 am and 7 pm, the division stated.
During the COVID-19 containment measures, one car ferry on Yangon Wahdan-Dala route was plying to and from the ports between 6 am and 7 pm with nine rounds per day and daily transport about 250 motor vehicles. Starting from 5 January, two car ferries are providing cargo transport with 16 rounds per day. The transport capacity has increased to 500 cars and 90 tonnes of goods, said U Kyaw Htoo Aung, manager of IWT (Delta Division).—Naing Lin Kyaw (IPRD) (Translated by Ei Myat Mon)
