Japan to recruit 1,053 Myanmar workers

The Myanmar Embassy to Japan announced on 15 September that it has recruited 1,053 Myanmar workers to work for companies in Japan.
A total of 342 job offer letters were reportedly verified between 1 and 15 September for 1,053 Myanmar workers who were offered to the embassy.
Factories and companies offering jobs are checked to see if they are legally established in Japan and the documents are verified, and the findings and comments are sent back to the Ministry of Labour through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Myanmar workers who want to work legally in Japan must check information at the employment and labour offices in townships and districts of respective regions and states and follow the requirements.
Job offer letters for 884 Myanmar workers on 31 July, 1,065 on 14 July, over 400 on 30 July, 350 job offer letters for over 1,000 on 15 June and further job offer letters for nearly 1,200 workers on 31 August were sent by Japan according to the Myanmar Embassy to Japan. — TWA/KZL
