Judgements given to 4 special civil appeals; 2 special criminal appeals, 3 special civil appeals heard

A total of four special civil appeals were given judgements and two special criminal appeals plus three special civil appeals heard at Office No (1) of Supreme Court of the Union yesterday morning.
Special appeals tribunal was led by Chief Justice of the Union U Htun Htun Oo and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Myo Tint, U Kyi Thein, U Tin Hone, and Daw Khin May Yi.
A total of four special civil appeals – 3/2020 (Mandalay), 6/2020 (Mandalay), 9/2020 (Kayin) and 12/2020 (Yangon) were given judgements.
In addition, two special criminal appeals – 5/2021 (Mon) and 6/2021 (Taninthayi) and three special civil appeals – 13/2020 (Ayeyawady), 22/2020 (Yangon) and 24/2020 (Bago) were heard keeping in line with the COVID-19 prevention measures. —MNA
