Judgements passed on 5 special civil appeal cases; 5 special civil appeal cases heard

A special appeal tribunal, consisting of Union Chief Justice U Htun Htun Oo and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union U Kyi Thein, U Tin Hone, Daw Khin May Yi and U Thaung Naing, was convened yesterday morning at the Office No. (1) of Supreme Court of the Union and passed judgements on a total of five special civil appeal cases —special civil appeal case No. 17/2020 (Yangon), 18/2020 (Yangon), 15/2020 (Mandalay), 4/2021(Ayeyawady) and 5/2021 (Ayeyawady).
In addition, a total of five special civil appeal cases —special civil appeal case No. 9/2021 (Ayeyawady), 10/2021 (Ayeyawady), 11/2021 (Mandalay), 13/2021(Ayeyawady) and 27/2021 (Shan)— were heard following COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines. — MNA
