K500 million lottery winner connected six days after result announced

A spokesperson from Aye Nyein Chan Thar lottery shop said they couldn’t find the lottery winner for K500 million but finally he was connected after six days, and even the winner himself didn’t know he won the grand prize.

The winner of K500 million with ticket No.Salane-428088 in the 58th Aungbarlay Lottery announced on 1 January 2024 couldn‘t be contacted, but the shop finally knew that it was a middle-agedman from Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on the morning of 6 January.

“He bought the ticket at our agent in Nay Pyi Taw. We went to his house early this morning and checked the ticket. Yes, he is the winner. Even the winner knew it just today,” said the official from the lottery ticket shop.

Due to no contact received from the winner of K500 million, agents from Aye Nyein Chan Thar announced on social media to try and contact the biggest grand prize winner.

“All our agents posted about it on social media to find the winner. We found other alphabets but the winning alphabet wasn’t found,” he said.
