A combined team seized drugs worth K 590 mln in Myitkyina town, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
Acting on a tip-off, the combined team comprising the anti-narcotic police raided a house of Makhaw San at No 249, Janmaikaung ward, Myothitgyi, Myitkyina town, Kachin State at 6 pm on 4 January and found 3.75 kilogrammes of heroin and 336,000 stimulant tablets worth over K 590 million.
Police have filed charges against her under the Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law and are still investigating the perpetrators in the chain of crimes, it is learnt. — MNA
