Kengtung university signs MoU with Philippines’ Iloilo science and technology university

With the aim of enhancing educational cooperation, Kengtung University, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and the Iloilo Science and Technology University of the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday through videoconferencing.
The Signing Ceremony was attended by presidents and rectors of the ASEAN universities, Rector of the Kengtung University Dr San San Mar, the pro-rectors, faculty members, the president and the vice-president of the Iloilo Science and Technology University, and the assistant president of the Chiang Rai Rajabhat University of Thailand.
The MoU between the two universities included areas for cooperation such as student exchanges — field trips, on-the-job training, etc., university faculty and researcher’s exchanges, exchange of library holdings and other library linkages, industry-academic linkage, identifications of methods for academic collaboration, organization of joint research projects, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and joint organizer of international conferences and meetings, exchange of information and publications, and implementation of other activities mutually agreed upon by the two institutions.—Maung Maung Naing (Kengtung-IPRD)/ GNLM
