With the aim of enhancing educational cooperation, the Kengtung University of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and the Tarlac Agricultural University of the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday morning through videoconferencing.
The signing ceremony was attended by presidents, rectors, pro-rectors and professors of the ASEAN universities.
At the ceremony, Rector Dr San San Mar of the Kengtung University and President Mr Max P. Guillermo of the Tarlac Agricultural University addressed the ceremony and signed the MoU. The video records of both universities were also displayed at the ceremony.
The MoU between the two universities included areas for cooperation such as exchange visits of students and faculty members, organization of conferences, seminars and meetings, publications of research papers. — Maung Maung Naing (Kengtung)(IPRD)/GNLM
