Kyaukpadaung Township’s new pond to serve 5,000 residents across 5 villages

A field inspection of the completion of the excavation of the water tank was conducted in Ywalu village in Kyaukpadaung Township.

According to the Rural Development Department, a water pond has been excavated in Kyaukpadaung Township, and K18 million of funding has been approved by the regional government.
This funding, sanctioned for the current financial year, aims to supply adequate drinking water to 5,000 residents across five villages in the Ywalu village-tract.
The excavation of the pond commenced on 5 April 2024 and has now been completed, as reported by the Rural Development Department of Kyaukpadaung Township. — TWA/MKKS
