Late Thone Kaung claims champion in SKYNET invitational Sepak Takraw Tournament

Late Thone Kaung club clinched the championship trophy in the SKYNET invitational Sepak Takraw Tournament 2024.
On 28 January, the final matches of the tournament took place at Shwe Htut Tin Ground in Yangon. In the men’s regu event, Khit Kyaung Thar played against Late Thone Kaung whereas Kyaung Sayar faced on Late Thone Kaung in the men’s four-player event. Moreover, Huamei Myanmar competed with Apple in the women’s regu event.
In the final match, Late Thone Kaung club won over Kyaung Sayar with 13-15, 15-12 and 15-9 and secured the championship title. Kyaung Sayar club stood second in the tournament.
Champion Apple club defeated Huamei Myanmar with 17-14 and 15-6 in the women’s regu event final.
In the men’s regu event, Late Thone Kaung deservedly won the championship trophy with 15-8, 16-17 and 17-14 over Khit Kyaung Thar club.—TWA/TTA
