Licences temporarily revoked from 7 overseas recruitment agencies

Migrant workers are seen arriving in Thailand, despatched by overseas recruitment agencies.

The Ministry of Labour announced that the licences of seven overseas recruitment agencies were revoked for six months or a year.
The agencies whose licences were revoked are Labour King company (from 14 September 2022 to 13 September 2023), Shwe Phyo Thar company (from 9 November 2022 to 8 November 2023), Myanmar Shwe Yanant company (from 9 November 2022 to 8 May 2023), Royal ANS Co Ltd (from 10 January 2023 from 9 January 2024), Top Choice Manpower Co Ltd (from 31 January 2023 to 30 January 2024) and Myit Myat Tan Khon Co Ltd (from 31 January 2023 to 30 July 2023).
There are more than 300 licenced overseas recruitment agencies and these agencies despatched employees overseas starting in early 2022. Overseas recruitment agencies can apply for licences under rules and regulations, according to the Ministry of Labour. — TWA/MKKS
