Long-day outbound trips on the rise

Among outbound trips, most take long-day trips, according to Myanmar Tourism Entrepreneurs Federation.
As of the end of the matriculation exam, students and parents go on summer vacations to local destinations as well as to foreign countries and there are those who went to Thailand, Viet Nam and European countries in April. Among them, most take 7 to 10 days.
“Most overseas trips last 7 to 10 days. There are people who go to neighbouring Thailand and packages to Viet Nam and European countries have been sold well. There were many people who took European tours during Thingyan,” said an official from the association.
