MACA marks 10th Anniversary BRI project

The Myanmar Arts and Culture Association will hold a ceremony to offer 10,000 candlelights, pray for peace, and provide food to invited monks in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road project at the Shwedagon Pagoda in Dagon Township, Yangon Region, on 15 December, said U Than Tun Soe, the general secretary of the association.
He added that similar ceremonies would also be held in Mandalay and Bagan, and a press conference about holding such ceremonies was conducted at the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Yangon on 12 December.
Myanmar is an important country along the Belt and Road project led by China, and Yangon is an essential route of the maritime Silk Road. — ASH/KZW
