The Ayeyarwaddy Times, a malicious news outlet, intentionally published fake news claiming that a Tatmadaw Mi-35 helicopter crashed near Warsardi Village of Waingmaw Township in Myitkyina District, Kachin State, on 17 December, quoting an unidentified source.
However, an official from the respective military command confirmed that the information about the helicopter crash was false and intentionally delivered inaccurately.
Additionally, Tatmadaw(Air)’s jets and helicopters effectively perform their military duties harmoniously with Tatmadaw’s military columns on the ground.
The malicious news media is spreading misinformation and fake news regularly, intending to undermine the public’s trust in Tatmadaw. — MNA/ TMT
