Mandalay Region to initiate SME courses, pilot projects for economic growth

The Mandalay Region Small Scale Industries Department recently announced that courses for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will be conducted seven times across five districts of the Mandalay region during this financial year.
Pilot projects aims to establish small enterprises and boost income. These projects will receive government funding, and efforts will be made to connect participants with technologies, resources, and markets.
The districts selected for the small enterprise projects include PyinOoLwin, Kyaukse, NyaungU, Myingyan, and Yamethin. In the previous financial year, similar projects were carried out in four districts, and currently, nine courses were conducted.
The objectives of these courses are to enhance rural development and foster entrepreneurship. — TWA/ TRKM
