ME to resume extension process for PJ passports on 7 Jan 2023

Myanmar nationals are seen lining up for passport process at the Myanmar Embassy in Thailand.

Myanmar Embassy in Thailand announced the extension process will resume for Myanmar PJ passports, which expired in 2022, in Thailand on 7 January 2023.
In addition, the process will include those who have previously received appointment tokens, and OWIC cards will also be issued. The Myanmar Embassy (new location) will carry out the extension process on Saturday only from 9 am to 12 noon.
The Myanmar Embassy notified that appointment tokens will be stamped in old passports and issued only to those who come in person to the Myanmar Embassy in Thailand.—TWA/MKKS
