MFF appoints new head coach for Myanmar national football team

The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has appointed Germany coach Michael Feichtenbeiner on a two-year contract starting from March 2023 for various international competitions this year.
The 63-year-old Michael began his coaching career in 1989 with the Swiss club BSC Old Boys Basel, and then coached in Germany, Austria, and Indonesia, and took charge of the clubs from Malaysia.
From 2016 to 2019, he managed Germany’s U15 and U17 teams, and from 2020, he served as the technical director and head coach of the Malaysian club Selangor.
Michael, along with assistant coach Lorenz and goal coach Mike Andre, will take charge of the Myanmar national team, the Myanmar Football Federation stated. — KZL
