MFF selects players for Myanmar U-16 boy’s football team

Selection and fitness tests are being conducted to form the Myanmar U-16 boy’s football team that will compete in international competitions this year, as stated by the Myanmar Football Federation.
The first round of selection was held in the second week of February to form the team, and the second round of selection was carried out in the first week of March. PCMA (Pre-Competition Medical Assessment) was conducted on 6 March.
In addition, fitness tests are being conducted on 7 and 9 March, and only after the second fitness test will the preliminary roster be released, and camp training will be held.
Japan’s Mitami has been appointed as the head coach of the Myanmar U-16 Youth Team, and plans are being made to select the players.
In the selection process, players from academies established by the Myanmar Football Federation and talented players from the FIFA-MFF U-15 League were selected.
The Myanmar U-16 youth team will compete in the ASEAN U-16 Championship and the Asian Cup U-17 qualifiers this year. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
