Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP) grants organic certification to successful farm owners who adhere to organic regulations.
MFVP assures the produce from those three farms is certified organic after the inspection of the MFVP Organic Affair Committee, according to the handover ceremony of the organic certificate held on 2 May 2024.
Those farms are Yatawmyaing farm in PyinOoLwin for macadamia, papaya, strawberry and vegetable cultivation, betel leaf farm owned by U Win Nyunt from the Nyaungdon area and Orchard farm from Maubin area for paddy cultivation.
The organic certificate is valid for one year, and it can be extended after the yearly inspection. Therefore, MFVP ensures organic integrity and food safety for the consumers that produce from those farms can be trusted and certified organic.
