MIFER Union minister inspects production, sales of various batteries, accessories in Shwepyitha

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo accompanied by departmental officials visited Proven Polyworld Company’s factory in Shwepyitha Township, Yangon Region, which manufactures and sells various imported replacement batteries and accessories.
Officials explained the operating conditions, manufacturing process of batteries and accessories in line with international standards, availability of raw materials locally, distribution of battery and related products not only to the domestic market but also to neighbouring countries, and challenges and investment expansion issues.
The Union minister coordinated necessary matters on the submissions.
The Union minister also discussed business expansion, to be able to upgrade the production process technology, to expand markets and increase import substitution production and opportunities for further assistance in job creation.
After the discussion, the Union minister inspected the production of batteries inside the factory.
The company mainly uses local raw materials and manufactures various batteries and accessories in one place, and exports international-standard Toyo brand car batteries not only domestically but also abroad. — MNA
