Military columns participating in 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day Parade take full-dressed rehearsal

State Administration Council Vice-Chair Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspects parade columns yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

Military columns, which will take part in the parade for the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, which falls on 27 March 2024, took a full-dressed rehearsal at the Nay Pyi Taw Parade Ground yesterday morning.
Anawrahta, Kyansittha, Bayintnaung, Aungzeya, Hsinbyushin, Bandoola and Aung San columns marched to the parade ground from Thittat ground under the parade programme, singing marching songs to the accompaniment of the military bands.
Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win together with Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Zwe Win Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-chief, Chairman of Armed Forces Day Organizing Management Committee Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing and officials, inspected parade columns. The Vice-Senior General fulfilled the needs of parade columns in coordination with officials.
The parade rehearsal was participated in by officers, other ranks, female military personnel, members of the female special operation task force from Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), and the Myanmar Police Force with aircraft from Tatmadaw (Air). — MNA/TTA
