MNDAA spokesperson alleges false online claims: Denies rocket strike on displaced people’s vehicle in Laukkai

MNDAA, TNLA and AA terrorists launched terrorist attacks in Shan State (North) and the residents of some townships fled their homes. At 9:30 am on 22 November, the shell of terrorists hit a vehicle carrying displaced persons in Tonechain near Laukkai Township, leaving some people dead, according to the displaced persons.
The false news that MNDAA spokesperson Li Kyar Win claimed the shooting was committed by the Regional Control Command (Laukkai) went viral on social media.
According to the locals and other sources, Security Force members did not open fire, but the artillery shells from insurgents, targeting a Tatmadaw base, fell onto a vehicle that carried the displaced persons.
Terrorists intentionally spread such misinformation to cause unrest and garner the support of local ethnic people by instilling fear and causing misunderstanding towards Tatmadaw. — MNA/KTZH
