MNHRC inspects Mother’s Love Home for the Aged

MNHRC member U Kyaw Soe visits Mother’s Love Home for the Aged in Hlegu Township.

The inspection team led by members U Kyaw Soe and Dr Than Myint from the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) inspected Mother’s Love Home for the Aged in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region, yesterday.
They inspected whether older persons in the Mother’s Love Home for the Aged can get fundamental human rights, including healthcare services, food supply, provision of purified drinking water as well as the right to freedom of religion, adequate dormitories and arrangements for ease of living and movement within dormitories and arrangement for recreation places.
The inspection team gave warm words of encouragement to the older persons cared for at the Home for Aged.
MNHRC will recommend the findings to the relevant departments during the inspection tour. — MNHRC
