After confirming the date of the Myanmar National League competition, the MNL Committee announced that MNL-2 and Women’s League will be held later this year.
The Myanmar National League Committee will hold the MNL-2 (first division) tournament from the first week of August to the second week of November, and the Women’s League will be held again this year, although no date has been set.
The MNL-2 tournament was launched in 2013 but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
The Myanmar National League has only announced the schedule for the tournament and has not yet announced the teams.
The Women’s League started at the end of 2016 but was suspended after three seasons.
In the last three seasons, the Myawady team won twice and the Sports and Physical Education Institute Team has once.
The Myanmar National League, Myanmar National League II and Women’s League are scheduled to be held this year, officials said. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
