MoBA Union Minister receives Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar

Nepali Ambassador Mr Harishchandra Ghimire calls on Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received Mr Harishchandra Ghimire, Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar, at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Border Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
They cordially discussed stability, peace and development of border areas, the development of human resources for ethnic youths and the progress of the socioeconomic development of locals in border areas, the implementation of tourism development and cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers for Border Affairs Maj-Gen Khun Thant Zaw Htoo and Maj-Gen Phyo Thant, the permanent secretary, the director-general and officials. — MNA/MKKS
