MoBA Union Minister receives Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung of the Ministry of Border Affairs received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed stability, peace and development of border areas, development of human resources for ethnic youths in border areas, the progress of peace issues being implemented by the State, further cooperation in peace, stability and development in Kachin and Shan states between the two countries, preparing for repatriation and resettlement of people who left Rakhine State, assistance in the development of Rakhine State, and further cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers Maj-Gen Khun Thant Zaw Htoo and Maj-Gen Phyo Thant, the director-general and officials from the ministry. — MNA
