Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung holds talks with the Chinese Ambassador-led delegation yesterday.

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung met Ambassador Mr Chen Hai of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar at the Minister’s Office yesterday afternoon.
They exchanged views on the tasks of the ministry, such as peace, stability and development of the border areas, services for the development of the human resources of the ethnic youth in the border region, issues that will continue to be cooperated according to the agreements for the development of Myanmar-China border areas, the conditions of preparations for re-examination and scrutiny of displaced persons carried out by the Rakhine State Peace and Stability and Development Coordinating Committee, the status and progress of the implementation of the work of the National Committee on the Resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons and the Closure of Temporary IDP Camps and the government’s efforts for internal peacemaking processes. — MNA/TS
