Mobile library launched in Kyaukpyu, Rakhine State

Officers from the Department of Information and Public Relations launched a mobile library in the beach area and Minpyin staff housing camp in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.
The mobile library carried more than 200 books, magazines, cartoons and novels, and visitors to the beach and the people living in the housing enthusiastically rented the books from the mobile library.
Deputy Staff Officer of the Department of Information and Public Relations in Kyaukpyu Township said this aims to increase knowledge and skills through reading. The renting of books was conducted under the COVID-19 prevention guidelines, and it will continue weekly. – Tin Tun Oo, Phyo Wai Lin (IPRD)/GNLM
