Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant led a delegation to the 3rd World Construction Championship closing in Russia. On 19 October, they held an informal meeting with the Russian Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing to talk about business cooperation and human resource development.
The following day, they attended the International Conference on the Development of the Construction Industry in Russia, engaging with Russian officials and high-ranking construction figures. Union Minister U Myo Thant also had a private meeting with the Russian Minister of Construction and Housing to discuss potential business opportunities.
Later, they joined the closing and awarding ceremony of the 3rd World Construction Championship alongside Russian counterparts and international construction dignitaries. The Union minister and the Myanmar delegation returned to Yangon from Russia on 21 October. — MNA/TS
