MoE UM receives delegation led by Ambassador of Russian Federation

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received a delegation led by Mr Iskander Azizov, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, at the Union Minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, the Union minister and the ambassador had a frank and cordial exchange of views regarding the matters of building an oil refinery in Myanmar, plans to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in geological and geo-physics measures in order to boost production at oil and natural gas fields, and increasing cooperation in the energy sector between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Thant Sin, directors-general, managing directors and officials. — MNA/TS
