MoEP Union Minister meets Russian Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han received Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listopadov, who had completed his tour of duties, at the parlour of the the Ministry of Electric Power in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
At the meeting, they shared their opinions regarding matters on continued cooperation with Russia in the development of Myanmar’s electricity sector, the signing of agreements resulting from the discussions between the heads of state of the two countries, cooperation in solar energy, hydropower and wind power sectors in Myanmar, opportunities of cooperation with local companies and multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries. — MNA/CT
