Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo receives Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India yesterday.

U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the call, they cordially exchanged views on further enhancement of the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly capacity building and human resource development, progress of the on-going development projects, cooperation to maintain peace and stability in the border area, as well as closer collaboration in regional and international contexts such as the BIMSTEC. — MNA
