MoFA signs condolences for demise of former Russian President Mr Mikhail Gorbachev

Mr Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the Russian Federation, passed away on 30 August 2022 and Director-General U Zaw Phyo Win of the Strategic Studies and Training Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed the book of condolences, which was accessible at the Embassy of Russia, located at No 38 on Sagawa Street in Dagon Township, Yangon Region, at 11 am on 8 September.
Former President Mr Mikhail Gorbachev of the Russian Federation served as the first president of the Russian Federation from 1990 to 1991. It is learnt that he was 92 years old at the time of his demise. — MNA
