MoHT UM receives Russian delegation, Travel & Agency of Thai separately

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine met Chairman Mr Grigoriev Evgeny Dmitrievich of the External Relations Committee, a member of the Government of St Petersburg of the Russian Federation and delegation and received Ms Kulchalee Preechayadeekul, Executive Officer of Best International Travel and Agency based in Thailand and delegation separately in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The meetings were attended by U Phyo Zaw Soe, Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism, the permanent secretary, directors-general, officials, Russian delegates, officials from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, officials from the Russia-Myanmar Friendship and Cooperation Association and delegation members led by Best International Travel and Agency executive officer.
Both parties cordially discussed matters on promoting tourism cooperation, cooperation on human resource development, visiting tourist destinations between the two countries in Myanmar and St Petersburg, the expansion of domestic and foreign airline flights and the smooth travel of Russian tourists to destinations in Myanmar.
During the meeting with the executive officer of Best International Travel and Agency, discussed matters related to cooperation for the development of tourism between Myanmar and Thailand, in addition to visiting the Yangon-Bago-Kyaiktiyo routes, which are the most frequented by Thai tourists and visit to new destinations.
Filming videos of Myanmar’s destinations and publishing them in the news media in Thailand and expanding the number of flights between Yangon and Bangkok.
Best International Travel and Agency is a company that promotes tours for Thai tourists to Myanmar and tours to more than 30 countries around the world.
