Mon State Chief Minister attends International Workers’ Day ceremony

Officials visit the exhibition booths of MSMEs during International Workers’ Day ceremony in Mawlamyine yesterday.

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein presided over a ceremony to mark International Workers’ Day in Mawlamyine yesterday.
He then read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.
After the ceremony, the chief minister and party observed the products, local traditional foods, and types of machines manufactured by MSMEs.
The chief minister also proceeded to Sasana 2,500 monastery in Mawlamyine to pay homage to the presiding sayadaw and met internally displaced persons from Dhammathet village who are sheltering in Mawlamyine and Chaungzon townships. — Sithu (IPRD)/KTZH
