More than 190 Myanmar workers sent to Korea under EPS system on 9 April

Through Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), 193 EPS Myanmar workers were sent to the Republic of Korea on 9 April, according to Myanmar Embassy in the Republic of Korea.

Of 193 workers, 172 are new manufacturing workers and 21 are construction workers. Myanmar workers arrived at Incheon International Airport by Myanmar National Airlines UB 8301 (charter flight) and labour attaché in Seoul welcomed them. He instructed them to what they need to follow and provided necessary assistances.

Myanmar workers have been dispatched to the Republic of Korea under EPS system via POEA. A total of 862 EPS workers were sent in March and a total of 1333 EPS workers were sent in February under E-9 visa.

In 16th TOPIK Test, 7th marking employment system which will be held in 2024, recruitment of Myanmar workers will be extended in the Republic of Korea’s service industry and both male and female are eligible to join the test.
