More than 50 bus lines of YBS accept YPS QR Code for fare payment

Bus fare can be paid by scanning QR code with the use of MPyps+ Application from mobile phones at more than 50 bus lines, according to Yangon Payment Service-YPS.

A ceremony to introduce Yangon Payment Service-YPS to be applied in scanning QR code for payment of bus fare took place at the Yangon Region Private Transport Committee-YRTC yesterday.

On 11 January 2024, Yangon Payment Service-YPS informed passenger people about using YPS QR Code on some YBS bus lines. Currently, such an application can be applied at YBS bus lines numbers: 13, 55, 57, 63, 42, 65, 22, 64, 111, 133, 134, 84, 130, 135, 142, 39, 136, 138, 139, 21, 80, 81, 131, 27, 66, 76, 79, 85, 132, 12, 14, 25, 30, 38, 117, 128, 19, 100, 103, 35, 40, 61, 68, 137, 62, 87, 88, 108, 37, 43, 96, 104, 109, 72 and 89.

Users need to download MPyps + Application (Android Version) at first for applying YPS QR Code through Google Playstore or Huawei AppGallery. Moreover, the MPyps+ Application can be downloaded on QR Code stickers at relevant buses.

YPS card service and YPS QR Code top-up service are available at YPS Card sale centres (KOISK), sale agents, G&G Convenience Store, Mingala Advanced Cinemas, Capital departmental stores and Wellington Pharmacy.
