Most CNG shops to remain open during Thingyan Festival period

During the Thingyan Festival period, most CNG shops across the country will remain open daily, according to U Kyaw Thura Win, General Manager of the CNG Department under Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE).

There is a total of 41 CNG filling stations in Yangon Region, two in Mandalay Region, and three in Magway Region. Of these, 34 CNG filling stations in Yangon Region, one in Paleik township in Mandalay Region, and one each in Yenangyoung township and Chauk township in Magway Region will be open daily as usual.

The CNG stations will operate from 5 am to 10 pm during the Maha Thingyan period. Stations that are closed during this period will reopen on 18 April. — ASH/MKKS
