MoTC holds 2023 rainy season tree planting, fish releasing ceremonies

The tree-planting and fish-releasing ceremony 2023 took place in the compound of Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station yesterday morning.
At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San said 90 per cent of people and all living creatures on the earth rely on trees and forests for habitation. It is also necessary to pay attention to the growth of planted trees, and tree planting events were held every year to make the country green.
At the ceremony, a total of 19,832 saplings were planted at the departments and organizations of the ministry.
After that, the Admiral attended the ceremony to release 20,000 rohu fingerlings into the dam near the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Nay Pyi Taw. — MNA/KZW
