MoTC Union Minister inspects works of affiliated departments in Sittway Township

State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San conducted an inspection tour in Sittway Township of Rakhine State together with other SAC members Mahn Nyein Maung, Daw Aye Nu Sein, U Moung Har and Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay yesterday.
SAC Member Admiral Tin Aung San arrived at the Myanma Port Authority Office at Phaungtawgyi Jetty in Sittway with state Security and Border Affairs Minister Colonel Kyaw Thura, Economic Affairs Minister U San Shwe Maung and other officials.
During the meeting with the staff, the Union minister explained the political, security, economic and social progress, stressed necessary things regarding the cooperation work among departments, COVID-19 preventive measures, saving the consumption of fuel and electricity and clean and tidy processes.
He then inspected the Phaungtawgyi Jetty of the Myanma Port Authority.
He also went to the Shwemingan Jetty and discussed matters related to the arrival and departure of cargo vessels, upgrade work of small jetties and substitution of large jetties. — MNA
