MPT temporarily suspends service for tech upgrade

Technology upgrades will be carried out from 25 May to 26 May, and some services will be suspended temporarily, telecom operator MPT announced.
Technology upgrades will begin from 11:30 pm on 25 May to 2:50 am on 26 May. During this period, subscribers can join the Special Flash promotion only until 9 pm on 25 May.
In the meantime, subscribers can make phone calls and use data services as usual. Still, with IDD and roaming services, buying packages through MPT4U, USSD code and SMS (data, voice, SMS), buying VAS, loan service, CRBT service, refilling bills and checking balances will be unavailable temporarily, MPT said.
Checking MPT Club points and checking or updating customer information will not be available temporarily. MPT apologized to its subscribers for the inconvenience. — TWA/ZS
