Fake news circulated as propaganda that 22 residents arrested in Pale Township

Subversive media have spread misinformation on social networks, alleging that 22 residents of Ywathit Village in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, were arrested by security forces impersonating PDF members at around 9:30 am on 22 May.
According to a security official from the relevant township, villages in Pale Township are being burned and destroyed by PDF terrorists, who are also attacking them with heavy weapons in an attempt to mislead the local population about the performance of security forces’ duties.
