MRTV to live broadcast New Year Countdown music concerts

The New Year Countdown Music Shows were planned to hold at the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park, the People’s Park in Yangon and the Mandala Thiri Sports Stadium in Mandalay on 31 December for the relaxation of people.
The show will be celebrated in abundance with the performance of famous singers, the new year countdown at midnight, the LED display of fireworks and the stalls of the Night Market.
Famous singers: Myanmar Pyi Thein Tan, D Phyo and Jamie Mai will perform with unplugged bands at the New Year Countdown Show in the Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Park. Similarly, film academy winners Yan Aung and May Than Nu, stereo singer Jet Mya Thaung and other artistes will entertain with the Great Nine Band at the People’s Park in Yangon. Other well-known singers will present their performances at the Mandala Thiri Sports Stadium in Mandalay as well.
All performances were to be live broadcast on the Farmer’s Channel, the Sports Channel and the Parliament Channel of MRTV respectively, from the start of the show at 6 pm until the end.
The completed and combined live shows will be broadcast on the MRTV HD Channel after the eight o’clock news. — MNA/CT
