Popular artistes held a music concert marking the 77th Anniversary Armed Forces Day at Thabin Hall of Zeya Thiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The singers sang Myanmar classical and modern songs to the accompaniment of the Myawady music band.
The event was enjoyed by Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, his wife Daw Than Than Nwe, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, officers, other ranks and family members.
After the concert, the Vice-Senior General and wife cordially greeted the musicians. — MNA
