Myanmar artists, family members receive COVID-19 vaccines

With the supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Ministry of Health and Yangon Region Government, artists and sculptors their family members from the Myanmar Artists and Sculptors Association (Central) received COVID-19 vaccines at No. (3) Basic Primary School in Bahan Township, at 9:30 am yesterday.
During the vaccination, healthcare workers and officials made records for the vaccinated people.
Next, healthcare officials measured the body temperatures, blood pressure and monitoring oxygen levels before the vaccination.
Vaccines were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal health conditions are vaccinated, officials said.
The vaccines were administered to 86 elderly artists from the association and family members.
Elderly and current members of the Myanmar Artists and Sculptors Association received the COVID-19 vaccines for the first time and the second dose will be given on 3 November, officials said. — MNA
