Myanmar delegation attends Chiang Mai Wellness Fair in Thailand

A Myanmar delegation, led by U Min Kyaw Linn, Consul-General in Chiang Mai, participated in the Chiang Mai Wellness Fair in Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The fair, jointly organized by the Chiang Mai Tourism Industry Association, Pinkan Resort, Chiang Mai State Tourism Promotion Association, Chiang Mai Health Development Association, and CISW International Company, commenced on 25 November to promote tourism.
At the Chiang Mai Wellness Fair, health-related products from various industries, including medicines, health accessories, beauty items, kitchen and household utensils, and clothing, were exhibited. The fair was attended by the Director-General of the Department of Tourism of Chiang Mai Province, diplomats from the consulates-general in Chiang Mai, and officials from the Chiang Mai provincial government.
As part of Myanmar’s efforts to boost domestic tourism, the Myanmar consul-general explored the potential for Myanmar-Thailand cooperation in promoting tourism. — ASH/TKO
