Myanmar delegation to attend seminar on cooperation in medical science at Far Eastern Federal University in Russian Federation

According to the meetings and discussions during the working visit of the Prime Minister to the Russian Federation, the Russia-Myanmar friendship and health cooperation are underway.
Five representatives of the Myanmar delegation led by Director General Dr Tin Tun from Department of Human Resource for Health, Ministry of Health, left for Bangkok, Thailand by air to attend the Medical Science Cooperation Programme to be held at the Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russian Federation on 9 and 10 November.
During the meeting, they will discuss development of medical health human resources between Department of Human Resource for Health of Myanmar and the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok the Russian Federation, issues of being able to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in medical surgery and providing training, to send medical professionals from Myanmar to learn cardiac surgery courses, atomic radiation diagnostic and treatment courses, and children’s surgery courses in the Russian Federation, and discussion and negotiation regarding cooperation in medical education in the Ministry.
It will assist in the development of Myanmar’s health human resource development and medical surgical treatment techniques, and the two countries will be able to carry out wider and deeper medical cooperation.—MNA
