Myanmar hosts ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Workshop on Audit of Medicine Procurement Process

The Union Auditor-General Office of Myanmar organized the ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Workshop on the Audit of the Medicine Procurement Process via videoconferencing yesterday.
In his video messages,Un ion Auditor-General U Tin Oo said Myanmar hosted the knowledge-sharing workshop for establishing the fact of the ASEANSAI Strategic Plan (2022-2025) “To build capacity and promote cooperation and understanding among the members of ASEANSAI through the exchange and sharing of knowledge and experiences “. The Union Auditor-General Office will share the experience, good habits achieved in medicine procurement processes of international auditor-general offices and the case study for medicine procurement. The workshop can exchange and share knowledge between member countries as the auditor general office of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines also discuss their medicine procurement processes and vaccination processes. It will also support in achieving the Work Plan of the ASEANSAI Strategic Plan and ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee.
Then, ASEANSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee Chairman and Malaysian Auditor-General Datuk Nik Azman Nik Abdul Majid made an opening speech via video message.
Afterwards, the Auditor-General Office of Indonesia discussed the medical assistance for basic healthcare while medicinal equipment management by the Auditor-General Office of Malaysia, school-based vaccination programmes by the Auditor-General Office of the Philippines and medicine procurement processes by Director Daw Mya Zin of the Union Auditor-General Office. — MNA
