Myanmar national team arrives in Singapore for Suzuki Cup

The Myanmar national team arrived in Singapore on 30 November to compete 2020 ASEAN Suzuki Cup, Myanmar Football Federation stated.
Teams competing in the Suzuki Cup, including the Myanmar national team, have been arriving in Singapore in advance due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The Myanmar national team trained in Turkey for more than a month in preparation for the Suzuki Cup and came directly to Singapore from Turkey.
The Myanmar national team played four friendly matches in the tour of Turkey, winning two and losing two.
A total of 24 players plus 12 coaching members is included in the squad and Hein Htet Aung from the Malaysian Selangor Club will also join the team, officials said.
The Myanmar squad has been training in Singapore since 1 December and the final list will be released in a few days.
Myanmar national team is falling in the same group with Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Timor Leste. Team Myanmar will play an opener against Singapore on 5 December.
