Myanmar nationals assist sick and undocumented Myanmar migrant worker in Malaysia

Myanmar nationals in Malaysia assisted an undocumented Myanmar migrant worker, who had been ill for more than three months at a durian farm in Malaysia, in receiving medical treatment.

The Myanmar migrant worker, who had been ill for more than three months at a durian farm located in Semenyih, Malaysia, requested the Lovely Heart Philanthropic Myanmar Youth blood donor group (Kuala Lumpur- Malaysia) that he wanted to go to hospital though he was undocumented.

As soon as they received for help, the group went to the patient the next day and assisted in making documents and sent him to hospital.

“The patient is in poor health, very skinny and even unable to walk,” said an official from the group.

When he recovers, they would send him back to his native Lewe township in Myanmar.

The Lovely Heart Philanthropic Myanmar Youth blood donor group has helped Myanmar migrant workers in Malaysia in dealing with their difficulties.
